The 2013 show season has kicked off with a bang for Libeo Lagae. Last week, we had Maison & Objet in Paris (look for upcoming posts about our activities in Paris). In the US, we had the opportunity to show off the new Libeco Home collection at the New York International Gift Fair. This was the first time anyone in the U.S. has seen the new product. The striking colors and tone are reminiscent of the 50s and 60s surf scene, and were a big hit with our retailers. Be sure to look for them in your local store.
There were other companies that inspired us with their use of Belgian Linen.
V Rugs & Home almost exclusively uses linen for their line of pillows.
Mary Gregory Studio, Ltd. prints creates prints on linen. The prints below are from her recent collection.
Design Legacy from Houston, Texas is a fun, eclectic wholesaler that prints on linen to create their throw pillows.
K Studio does wonderful print and embroidery on linen. We love that they’re including pets in their work.
D. Bryant Archie has a unique take on fabrics with colors and textures created using artisnal processes.
Oomph creates their lines with an element of whimsy and a punch of color.
This linen chair by Oomph is a delight.
We hope you saw something you would like to take home. Is there a room in home that needs a little color, or flair?
